Will the .Gov go door-to-door to bring folks to “COVID19 quarantine camps”?

They did not shut down the bath houses and gay bars when AIDS began appearing in this country.

That would have too politically incorrect even though they’d quarantine people with typhus or cholera at that time.

I’m neutral when it comes to vaccines. Some are good and some turn out to be harmful. IMHO, there needs to be better quality control when producing a vaccine so it does not cause more harm than good.

I have not had a flu shot in over thirty years. In all that time I didn’t get as sick as when I had to get vaccinated. I haven’t been sick at all for almost ten years.

The same leftists that want vaccines for every thing don’t have any reservations with letting unvaccinated illegal immigrants in the country,

Not here.
Americans take offense to government employees rounding up citizens for any reason.

Somebody hasn't read their history well.

The rest of the people are MORE than happy to beg the government to round folks up and destroy their rights as long as it's about some "Panic".

It's happened many times in this country and WILL happen again.

Just see how much hate is currently offered to those who question vaccines and all the bad or fatal things others wish on them. Now imagine if someone is suspected of having a "Panic Virus"..... the people will be begging the government to send men with guns to drag them to concentration camps / death camps.

God I hope so. There are quite a few people I’ll go cough on after I lick the doorknobs at the VA and the handrails at JFK. Also, my neighbors just upgraded their TV so I think I’ll go spit in their mouths.

As a nation, we are a super soft people who are spoiled to a level that can’t even be described. Give a good outbreak scare and you better believe the masses would rally around the flag so fast that you wouldn’t even have the time to turn the dial on your TV before you’re hauled away.

I’m not a conspiracy theory weirdo or anti-govt guy, but I have no doubt that mandatory quarantines could occur if a viral outbreak was bad enough. You have to do something as a govt and can’t just let it continue to spread. I also fully believe they’d use tip lines so the public can report those who may be sick and hiding. Once again, you have to do something to stop the spread. However, none of this immediately equates to rounding up sick Americans, dumping them into a large hole, and lighting the fuel so the rest of us can be pure.

The funny thing as usual is the government will be destroying the entire idea of civil liberties and running roughshod over the constitution long after it would have done any good.

Much like the government in China. A bit less official denials and arresting those spreading the truth would have done a lot more good than rounding people up at gunpoint long after the disease has spread all over the country.

So for those of you AI owners selected for virus purification, let me know where you are and I’ll be sure to watch your kit while you’re gone.

WTF, you looking in my windows again?
Don’t leave the curtains open if you don’t want people to look.

What's this dial thingy you're talking about?
It’s the thing you yell at your kid to turn before it adjusts the antenna.

So are we ready for 7 million boomers to die?
Can you picture it? No more lines at Denny’s on Sunday morning. Hooters would finally go out of business. Traffic in Florida wouldn’t be a thing. Millennials would have more free time during the holidays instead of spending hours teaching parents how to use the TV remote and their cell phones. It could be such a beautiful utopia.

Wait.... A black van just pulled up and they're aaaaaasrghjhgdfd
Stop helping people with arm casts load couches and you wouldn’t be in this predicament.

could totally see that they want to go door to door to try and force people to give up firearms why not round them up first then rampage through the stuff when no one is there to stop them . In china it's way easier they say come you go if you don't they kill you end of story . Not saying they would not kill you when you show up just cause the can and they will . 100 million people dead is nothing more than population control like spring cleaning .

Wait, you still have a TV with a dial? You're old as fuck!!! ?

Hahaha I don’t but I’m saying that I do in order to make the boomers feel safe before we lure them into the van. I’m mid 30’s so old enough be be there for the end of ATARI and young enough to remember yelling at everyone in the house for knocking me offline while playing counter strike. STOP PICKING THE PHONE UP GRANDMA!!!

Probably a rotary dial phone also.

Wait, I actually have used them.
The farm I hunt had them until about 2 years ago.

Damn lol.
Every time I’m out with my toddler and see a pay phone, I tell him “Look, it’s something you’ll never remember or know about when you get older.”

Party line. Ya'll are too young to remember "Party line". And for those that do, are you old enough to remember:

Fence line?

That's how they communicated with the neighbors, through the second fence-line.

I grew up with the crank in the house. Then there was the 10/10, but my father was a volunteer fireman. Totally different story.

I remember those very vividly.
One memory of them was as a kid trying to be the tenth caller to win something from a radio station contest. .........

Yea, I know. A radio station. You know FM/AM.

You had FM radios when you were a kid, lucky you HA!

I did enjoy my first "portable" radio however.
Small pulp book sized thing that got AM only, had a speaker, ate batteries and also had a plug for one of those little translucent earplug things so you could listen in privacy, and a very long antenna.

Back in the early 80s the asians did make some pretty fun unregulated semi portable AM radios that were fun to muck with as a kid.
Receive or transmit

Last time I visited down under, my mother had probably the last remaining working rotary phone as her house landline (she does have a cell phone too).

Our first family TV, only one in the house at the time, was black and white with rabbit ears. Way before cable was ever available.
FM radio was an option in automobiles of the day.

You didnt live...

If you have never used aluminum foil or alligator clips on the TV antenna...just to get that one UHF (WTF is UHF OldSalty?) channel.

If you didnt have a 50ft phone cord on the kitchen phone so you could stretch the phone way into the other room to talk to your girl in private.

Or used a banana tree as an antenna

Or had 1 or more people play human antenna
(which then leads to more interesting playtime with ungrounded appliances, forming human capacitor chains).
