When they say stay home, that doesn't mean you load up the Subaru with the kids and head to a mountain town for a mini-vacation. Stupid people in Denver are heading to mountain towns, luckily most have all their hotels and motels shut down except for essential people.
Wish I had a KILL button, you know, like an EASY button, but this one stops all Subaru's dead in their tracks.

Start manning road blocks to pull people out of their cars and haul them away to wherever and I'll not shed a tear for any King's Man who doesn't make it home from that duty, and I bet neither will most freedom loving types.

Wtf man

This isn’t boot lickers anonymous

South Jersey had no reported cases of COVID-19 (granted tests were not really available). Then New Yorkers came down here to vacation and get away from the virus in the city. Naturally our first cases down here were New Yorkers who ran from the city.

Hard to argue that Subaru owners should be able to go on vacation to spread their infections. Yet the bigger part (of this NYer who is staying on his farm with his family) wonders how many seeking draconian measures today were crying about FEMA/UN plans to use WalMarts as detention centers last year.

You don’t need roadblocks... Ice pick and four out of state tires flat in grocery store parking lot . They’ll get the message. And let the folks back home know... don’t come here.

sirhr

So if the guy is just driving home because his hotel closed you would strand him in your town? (Haha, I know you are just trolling for idiots.)

Lol the only Subaru drivers who don’t need a bullet are WRXs.

But freedom applies to everyone. Wtf is wrong with you guys wanting checkpoints and a police state.

I'm just frustrated with the idiots who think the rules don't apply to them. All the initial cases we got in the little town near me were brought in from people on vacation. Now that we have a stay at home order, people are ignoring it, or coming up with reasons that it doesn't apply to them.

I'm all for freedom, until you break the law and potentially kill others with your stupidity.

No shit...

Freedom isnt free and all that. This virus isnt going away. It's going to spread to every town and city and it's going to last until they come up with a vaccine. People keep acting like these economy killing quarantines are going to do anything... they cant last forever and most people are going business as usual. They may stand a little farther back in the grocery store line from the next person. But they are still touching the same scanner and credit card machine as everyone else...

Old people should hunker down as if their life depends on it. Otherwise let's keep it moving....

You can’t be for freedom and following the million laws we have.

How do you feel about the 20000 plus gun laws we have ?

I think around 19990 off those gun laws are useless. However, we are talking about an order limiting travel to reduce the spread of a potentially deadly virus. So, Yes. The freedom to go on vacation when ordered to stay home should be valid.

By the the way, I don't believe at this point roadblocks can be considered lawful until Martial Law is declared?

Our fucktard Dem governor just enacted one of those stupid "stay at home" orders too. I went in to town today and most people I saw gave zero fucks about his decree. It was mostly business as usual. As it should be since we have like 50 cases of the Chinese virus in our state.

If you need the government to protect and coddle you, that's on you. Far as I know, the Constitution isn't null and void when people get sick and panic like sheep.

Hey, go fuk.

I’ll remember this when the green plates start headed into Wyoming.
Go rat out people somewhere else. I hope you called 911 and jammed up their system with your nosy neighbor shit.

I think in an emergency, the Governor has the right to seal the state's borders.

Although I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn last night

So, who wants to hedge that there will be a land slide of lawsuits against city and state governments, and how these stay at home orders are unconstitutional? I'll bet there will be hardly any?

Those green plates are already heading your direction friend.

And who's ratting who out? I live in the sticks, haven't seen another human being in two days?

How fucking stoooopid! The governor sends troopers to walk the streets among the people and report back as to what is going on.
So where did these troopers stay and eat? Walking amongst the people that may be infected so they can bring it back to Nashville.
Unfucking believable.
They closed the camping in the Great Smokey Mountains. They kicked all the campers out and told them to go home and practice social distancing. How fucking retarded. They are in the mountains and they sent them back to the crowded cities? You can't make this shit up!!
What's going on in my little corner of the country.

My Subaru is better than your Subaru,
Mine is better than yours,
My Subaru is better than your Subaru,
Because mine my can get technical,

My Subaru,

Obviously there are some of us who truly believe in freedom and liberty

Then there are others that strongly believe freedom should only exist until somebody says "for the public good"

You know, I have to agree with @Nik H.

If the governor of a states wants to shut down the flow of non residents into his state, shouldn’t he have to the authority if his citizens want that? Are states no longer sovereign?

State's rights only applies when it helps me to get my way in an argument.

I'm with you, but honestly, as I asked above, anyone challenging these stay at home orders (in court)? Any law suits filed? Will there be any? I doubt it.

We essentials get to ignore the governor’s suggestions.
We got impotent shit to do.
But we’re not going to malls, movies or concerts.
Just work.

I spoke with a friend in NC today, they already issued him paperwork verifying him as being essential. If they're going that far to actually create documentation, I'm sure there's the possibility of checkpoints, roadblocks, etc.

Make no mistake. Shit like that has NOTHING to do with the fucking FluManchu.

Wake up you wooly fuckers!

I asked my children if they read Animal Farm or 1984 when they were in school. Neither had it in school so I recommended it to them. Both are avid readers so I believe they will.
Ah I see now. The government has classified citizens into two segregated groups, essential and non essential. THE essentials are slaves to pay for the non essentials
Special Animals on the farm?

Trump left it to the individual governors to decide their states best interest.
The screaming when Alabama closed the spring break beaches stopped when the returnees cases went up tested. Kay Ivey was cursed by both sides. Now, closed beaches and stay at home are ok. And there arent too many visitors now.
Then there was Florida, the influx, and open beaches. Look at their confirmed and deaths now, and what their governor is doing.

Tennessee Governor could have ordered the vacation businesses closed and stopped some of it last week. He did not, trying to balance business with health. Just like Alabama and FL.

Being a governor isnt fun right now, 50% want to kill them, 50% want them to stomp down harder, most places.

Trump HAS let your governor decide. Your governor CAN call out the guard and do roadblocks, if they want to... under an emergency declaration.
And the troopers with guard assistance can arrest and assess fines through the local courts in their jurisdictions.

We have an interesting conundrum. We have the freedoms, but want others not to, just because they are from another state, no, because the fellow American is sick, no freedom to cross the line to whatever, his hospital is full and they sent him to yours, no can do, and when its you who needs to go, sorry, stay out of our state. Hmm.

Southern folk telling Yankee go home, pick it up where we left off in 1865 ?????? Some things said, sound that way.

Kay Ivey, AL Gov, said today, We are all in this together, and if we work together, we will get through it together.
Now, for all Americans to go there, or we got Bosnia, Serbia, and all that shit.

Think twice before asking an Abrams to be your roadblock. We got a long road ahead. Better open to friends, old, and new, than the movie Cold Mountain become your new reality.

Do you think that same Governor has the right to seize your weapons or restrict you from carrying? Do you think YOU will get to choose what rights you forfeit?

We have the documentation papers already issued. Yes.
First violation is a warning. 2nd violation can be a $500.00 fine. Can include jail depending on circumstances.
Trooper God said, "Do not f with the people, play real nice, do not make this worse than it already is, only arrest or ticket the extremes or those who force you into it, did you hear rule 1, do not f with the people. Our Trooper God is on our side, thank Goodness we arent in NJ.... just sayin. Sorry NJ guys, no offense intended.

I....don't even have an email on it, and I am absolutely essential....I cant even quit without notifying DNR.
I reckon my company ID will have to do.

I'm sure there is NOT going to be roadblocks just yet.

I been hearing about "letters" for two weeks now and it's boring the hell out of me.

Too bad we have a disgraceful, weak and cowardly Supreme Court. These "stay at home or go to jail" and stopping cars with certain license plates are a clear violation of the Constitution. They should put a stop to them tommorow. Doesn't matter if this is an "emergency" or "for the good of all". The Constitution doesn't make exceptions for natural disasters and pandemics. It was written for precisely times like this.
