oh yes they can. they look for changes in a page so when that page goes from nothing to showing primers, it's go time.
Where can I get me one of them bots? As fun as it is to read about primers getting restocked in the middle of the workday, some of us can't clock out to join in the feeding frenzy.

https://distill.io/ has a browser plugin that's easy to use. It doesn't work on some sites as I think they have changing URL's or something to prevent it. I've been sitting at my desk when the alarm has gone off for primers and I still couldn't check out fast enough to get some. I think people are using bots for actual checkout which is a different setup also.. Many sites are limiting to 1 box, often just 1K and with shipping and hazmat fees, ug.. it's painful.
they should post that its available and to call to place an order. maybe that would get rid of the bot issue, maybe not

Their 4350 and H4350 are (from a fair bit of reading on accurate shooter, 6mmbr, here, etc.) are damn near the same.
Same with their "Precision" and Varget. There are many that prefer SW Precision over Varget for price / same performance.
I haven't done a side by side on my bench. ymmv. Not passing it up when it comes in stock though.

Keep one thing in mind when ordering from Hodgdon. They limit you to QTY 5 of a single SKU, *and* or 1 order per calendar month. I got a discord message this am and went back to get some more this morning and got the "fuck you jack, you were here yesterday" message. (paraphrasing)
