I've been wearing a pair of ASOLO Echo's for a couple years now and they are the most comfortable boots I've worn to date...and they show no signs of wear and I use these for competitions and everyday stuff. I'm also a fan of Danner's...heavy but once broken in are completely reliable.
I used this sling last weekend at the Brawl...Tony showed me some new ways to incorporate this sling on some stages of fire that i had not used a sling...end result was that I score 75% better on those stages this time. Well worth it. His new Carbine sling is killer, too.
shot this with factory loaded Hornady 6.5 CM 140gr AMAX. Last stage of two days worth of abuse at the Bushnell brawl. 40yds offside prone. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=534311819952268&set=a.534311363285647.1073741825.103839196332868&type=1&theater not far for range but center of...
Re: Danner Boots I'm still using(for work) the Danner Acadia's I bought at the PX in 1996...I bought them for cold weather but liked the sole for urban as well. Respectfully, --KJ
Re: Suppressors and Gas Guns! My 2cents OSS - Modular Weapon Suppression System I saw these guys at SHOT...seems that their suppressor addresses the issues of back pressure, fouling, etc. as well as some others not discussed. I've not had any first hand experience with this...

Re: LMT MWS suppressed ? I have run my MWS with a Surefire can on it during the last Oregon Sniper Challenge. I ran factory 168gr Hornady through it. Finished 9th. I liked it. I don't remember being blasted by any gas blow back... Respectfully, KJ
Re: Vintage Pistol? Nice weapons, Gent's. All those Colt's...damn! I have a couple Colt's that are cool My Aunt gave me this one My Dad gave me this one for being the High Shooter out of our Academy Respectfully, --KJ
Re: USMC M1903 A1 / 1941 Sniper Rifle Project begi This SWS is my all time favorite. I would be one of those lunatics mentioned above to buy one if I could. Look forward to seeing her up and running. Thanks for sharing. Respectfully, --KJ
Re: Who runs Hornady 75 BTHP I used between 24 and 24.5 grains of Varget for High Power Service Rifle. Shot the 75gr BTHP's across the course. Varget is super stable as far as temp goes which is always a good thing. Respectfully, --KJ
Re: pistol in 357sig - recommendations? Those are good choices as well...Factory barrels have always worked well enough for me that's all. I'm not going to recommend something I haven't used first hand. Respectfully, --KJ
Re: pistol in 357sig - recommendations? Hahahaha...I actually like the way the CT grips feel. That P220 came with aluminum grips that are nice but they just sit in the safe now. I just won that X400 and had to change out the spacer to fit these rails. I use it for the light...it just...
Re: No sniper rifle but my Swiss K31 shoots .5 moa How is ejection? I have a K31 as well and really enjoy that rifle. I hate the original stock though...that laminated one looks much better. that Swiss round is basically a .30-284 and I have hand loaded some accurate loads for it but I...
Re: pistol in 357sig - recommendations? I have carried a Sig P229 for over 4 years now. I'm not a pistol guy by any means...but since it's all I have most of the time I have no choice. That being said I would take that P229 anywhere. It hammers. It's probably been shot thousands of times...
