Watch Out for Scammers!
We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
Quick update for any inquiring minds... Just sent in my set for replacement (purchased March, 2019). The charging port on one side wouldn't charge the earbud -- it was visible that the contacts weren't protruding enough from the case. No overt damage/trauma to the case so not quite sure what...
Came here to post this -- Beat me to it! One thing to add, the 15% off coupon has some exclusions for various categories -- I was having trouble with some of the filler items (eye glass cleaning kit), though managed to get it to work with the Sealing & Repair Tape kit. And again, the coupon is...
Have played around with various trigger setups on my HKs... Spend the $15 or whatever on the pliers and do it yourself. (Don't absolutely need the pliers either, just makes it much easier). FWIW, my P30L has been sitting in my safe ever since I picked up my VP9. Some like the LEM/Light-LEM...
If you're not opposed to refurbs, check out A&A Optics. A while back he was running a sale and I ended up with the Razor HD 20-60x85 w/ both ranging eyepieces (MOA and MRAD) for $965 shipped. Still has their full warranty and I just couldn't pass it up for that price.
Took LR2 last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the class. First precision rifle class I've taken, but have taken various pistol/rifle/carbine courses over the years, so take that for what it's worth. Overall pace was well thought out, building slowly at the beginning (days 1-2), then ramping up...
If you're planning on taking LR2 at all, I'd say just go for the annual membership -- only a $25 difference if you do LR1 + LR2 as a non-member, or buy the membership and get LR2 at a discount (they throw in LR1 or one of the other seminar classes for free)... not to mention you get full access...
Will be attending LR2 this weekend and can provide feedback afterward (shoot me a PM in case I forget to reply here). Took LR1 a few months back and was happy with it -- certainly built as an intro level course (classroom only, no live-fire), much of which can be learned elsewhere (Kleckner's...
FWIW, while the website says 8-week leadtime on the Nightstalker, I had mine within 2 weeks on a recent order. (Did order it with the PIG saddle so I don't know if they give preference to combo orders or not)
Thanks for the info. Glad to know I'm not that crazy for asking the question. Like you mentioned, a quick note, even just on the webpage would be nice to let the end user know what to expect.
Might be a stupid question but how many bolts should be used to attach the fore end on the Bravo chassis? Went to install the KRG Ambi Sling Mount and unless I'm doing something wrong, it doesn't seem possible to use the two front bolts anymore. Is this normal? Debating on drilling holes in...
... so you're relying on a safety to prevent an ND, yet don't think that it could also be a hindrance when a shot is actually needed? No need for a .45 with today's 9mm defense load offerings (Federal HSTs or Speer Gold Dots). My vote is to convert your 19 back to a stock trigger and put...
