    M40a1 build guide

    Recoil lug is tapered 2 degrees front to back. This causes the rifle to get tighter when fired (think wedge). The box is a BDL welded to the receiver and you use all Remington parts for the insides. Also, use a stamped follower not cast as you need to modify that to fit 5 under the bolt.
