Re: It is driving me nuts
I agree, I thought it looked slightly off as well. I think the fastest way to rule out the rings is to flip the rings 180, as someone else suggested, and see if it shifts everything to the opposite side.
Re: Bore guides
I am also very curious to see what others suggest. I will be needing one very soon, but also just found out that they are not making the Lucas guides for a while. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
Re: 700 sps tact aac-sd or savage 10 fp-sr
Both very good choices. I think it really comes down to personal preference. I would personally go with the 700. I would highly recommend getting a new stock for it though. You may also consider the SPS Varmint that has a $75 rebate now also. It...
Re: Bedding an Aluminum scope base?????
I just did mine using JB Weld, and it turned out perfect. Sorry, not a direct answer to your question, but it did turn out great.
Re: New stock: Inletting question
Great info guys. Thanks so much for the help. So just to double check, I do not want the action contacting the stock anyplace but the bedding block, correct?
I just received my new B&C medalist stock for my SPS Tactical. It looks GREAT. I did have to do a little sanding in the barrel channel to get good clearance. I have a couple additional questions.

Re: Viper PST 6.5 x 20 x 50 FFP or NOT
Thanks for all the great info guys. I have decided to go with the FFP for sure. Now just need to figure out MIL or MOA. It is a never ending string of decisions when you are new to this stuff, but it is a lot of fun learning as I go. Thanks again...
Sorry guys I am new to this site and already know this has been talked about a ton, but I am looking for a little bit of input. I am looking at getting the Viper PST 6 x 24 scope. I am not sure if I should go for the FFP or the SFP. I am going to put it on a 700 SPS tactical in .308. The...
Re: First post...Info overload!!! First bolt gun!
I am ready to order one of these this week. About the only thing I am going to do is drop it in a new stock. Sounds like it should be a great rig!!
