I talked with Matt quite a bit on the phone during the decline last year. For some reason, he would take my calls. The last conversation I had with him, he told me that he was in a bad way due to component quality issues. Once the junk was delivered, he couldn't get his money back or parts...

Don't know about the comparisons, but I did try Silver Bear out of my SPS in .308......it did the job:

I went with the AI, replacing the thumbhole with viperskins. No complaints.

Re: AI 10 round magazine first round question I had same issue with the 5 round. I realized that I had not stacked the rounds in the mag properly while loading. I check now by depressing the last round to assure there is spring tension on it, and the feeding of the first shot is smooth.
