On my 2nd brick of Norma TAC 22 ammo......don't know about any "Star" Norma 22 ammo. If we are talking the same Norma 22 ammo, its accurate ammo for me in my BSA Model 12 Martini target rifle. Will use the TAC in this rifle in the 50 yd open sight 22 competition this coming Sunday at range I'm...
I've been fortunate to travel to western Europe with my wife around 6-8 times in last 16 years. Most of my trips, had a rental car we put 1000 or so miles on traveling around. Have seen my share of Western European cities and etc. Never have found a sporting goods type store with any gun...
For you gents in the South with an Academny Sports and Outdoors store in your area. Past Monday visited the Academny store in Humble, Tx and found they'd gotten a supply of the Federal Gold Medal ULTRA MATCH late last week. Being $19.95 a box for the Ultra Match, I passed on buying some of it...
Well, if you live in the South and have an Academny Sports and Outdoors store near you, might want to check it for the Federal Gold Medal Ultra Match 22 ammo. Found it in my Academny outside Houston, Tx yesterday and clerk told me they'd received it late last week. LOL, only $20 a box of 50...
FWIW, do not use any one bore cleaner. Like to rotate among a number of different ones. Example, come home with a rifle from range, use the MP 7 pro cleaner, usually just wetting a number of patches and use a jag thru the bore, occasionally run a tenex/nylon brush down barrel and then dry...
FWIW, from what I gather, a fair amount of what they show on their site is not actually stocked by them. They'll take your order and forward it to whoever has listed their merchandise with them. For example, been a few years ago, but ordered a Swift scope from Optics Planet. A couple of...
Visit www.natchezss.com and do a search for their remaining Nitrex TR1 scopes....basically around 3-9 scopes left to sell. Nitrex TR1 scopes are often compared to Weaver Grand Slam or at least Classic V scopes. The Nitrex were made in same Japanese Light Optical Works (LOW) factory as the...
Might want to take a look at the Weaver Grand Slams you can find at www.natchezss.com Seems Weaver has redone the line of Grand Slam scopes, so ones at Natchez are the older/discontinued models and prices on them are reduced pretty good. Don't own a Grand Slam, but do own a few of the Super...
Do believe that the Konus or Celestron mentioned are used by at least 4 of my range buddies. Have viewed thru them numerous times, nice optics. I know my buddies would recommend either of them.
May want to look into the Weaver Super Slam 4-20x50. Some of them have a $100 rebate, depending on reticle. Have a couple of them, very nice scopes, track well and glass is very good. Longest I've shot with mine was on a 600 yd range and scope did OK for that distance on a 7x57 Ruger rifle...
Several days ago, visited Midway website and noticed an ad banner on opening screen about reduced prices on Weaver Scopes. Own a couple of Super Slams and really like them. Anyway checked the Weaver's onsale at Midway found $200 off on the 4-20x50 dual X reticle scope. Price was $440 with...
Have owned the Midway BSA scope asked about for maybe a year and 1/2 now. Its been on a few different rifles. Presently its on a 257 Roberts mauser 98 action rifle. Hardly a top notch scope, but it has served its purpose for my 100-200 yd paper shooting. Optics are more than adequate for me...
