When I was looking into the Chassis I could have sworn word is that he is working on a folding mechanism that you will be able to add to older fixed chassis. It will require cutting out a small portion of the rear of the chassis, which shouldn't be a big deal for most to do.

All of my rifles have muzzle devices. I really don't see a reason for them not to.

Luckily I am in California -- at least in this case I suppose. So rarely does it hit sub 30F during the times of year I am backpacking.
