Balance is everything in a rifle to me and can make one feel much lighter than it actually is. That applies both ways. An out of balance rifle will feel cumbersome no matter how light.
Seekins bottom metal works fine as a repeater. A wyatts oversize mag box should work as well if you want it as an adl/bdl instead of a detachable magazine. Any other system that will feed the .338 lapua will work.
Built several on 700's and custom clones. They all work fine. I like the cz550 a lot but wouldnt go that direction for a custom long range rifle simply because of the lack of aftermarket support.
