Is there an issue with mounting a variable power scope with true 1X at the low end on a canted (20MOA) rail? I remember reading this somewhere. Thanks!
Re: Gas gun optic selection Any set of quality rings or one piece mount will work well. Just make sure to get ones that bring your optic down as low as possible. I actually had to remove some material from the bottom of my scope cap
Re: Gas gun optic selection One thing to keep in mind on the OBR, is that with the exceptionally tall top rail you may want to choose an optic with a smaller objective. This will allow you to choose a mount that brings the optic closer to the rail for a proper cheek weld. This was an issue...
Re: Les Baer I have had the same experience as Mr. Higgins and RTH 1800. That is, with my "Thunder Ranch". I also have a "Police Special", and the accuracy on that is very average. Neither rifle likes P mags; they do run flawlessly with standard mags.
Re: NightForce NPR2 reticle, having trouble seeing it I have several of these scopes with the mil-dot reticle, and have absolutely no trouble in low light, or dark backgrounds. I tried one with the NP-R2, and had the same problem as the OP. They should not even sell this great little scope...
Re: NightForce 2.5-10X32 NXS Reticle I have several of these with the mil-dot. I tried the NPR-2 reticle and found it to be too fine for the 2.5-10. It was very hard to pick up against a dark background. I ended up returning it, and getting another mil-dot.

Re: Kahles Helia K 3-12X50 I have a much cheaper Kahles than this, and it does have excellent glass. I did not even realize Kahles offered a ffp scope with 34mm tube and exposed turrets until I stumbled across this the other day. I am sure it is nice, but would like some feedback from...
