JJones I normally only run subs, guess I should mention that for Vetman.

    Suppressors .30-06 Suppression

The 30.06 isn't the ideal round to suppress, though you can take a lot of the "bark" off of it, it's not as ideal as say a 300blk or 308. The harvester , from what I've read , weighs in at 16oz ( *corrected 11.3), which isn't 'too bad' to hang on a sporter. 11.3 @ 16.5 - 18" sounds reasonable...

    Suppressors Which .45 to suppress

Purely out of curiosity, how does the 45osprey hold up with 45LC ? I've seen & heard of damage from long term 300blk (sub) use, so I never used it. Just wondering about how it would handle on a lever action I have

Sidearms & Scatterguns Carry knife preferences

Can't carry knife with a locking mechanism, so I carry a fixed blade. (Laws, job, and places I commute daily ) A cheapy Kabar TDI for jogging and a CRKT minimalist neck carry for everyday. Would rather have a locking folder though

Need to see some MDT LSS chassis pics before I order...

Got the lss , really wish I'd rather gone with the xlr. As mentioned above the stock mount and adapter fit so far back even bottoming your scope turrets to the rear doesn't give you the best eye relief. * Notice how much closer an xlr mounts a stock to the action. -On the flip side, with the mdt...

700 aac-sd, mdt lss chassis, kryptek camo

How's the cheek weld to eye relief for that scope? edit: nevermind I updated on this thread http://www.snipershide.com/shooting/snipers-hide-bolt-action-rifles/219893-need-see-some-mdt-lss-chassis-pics-before-i-order.html

    MDT's New Chassis Offering, LSS

I would highly discourage the MDT LSS + Magpul PRS combo, the eye relief is way too far for higher magnification scopes. The chassis design extends your buffer tube attachment away from the action. Add the fixed stop adapter and charging handle clearance and your cheek weld sits way back. I'll...

Suppressors cheapest rifle that can successfully silenced

The HR Handi mentioned earlier seems to fit your bill. It a single shot, but for deer hunting I rarely ever need a quick follow up. As mentioned earlier , when It comes to suppressed hunting SHOOTING SUBS, distance and velocity become a big factor. You basically become a cheating bow hunter , if...

    Ruger mark III 22/45 Questions

KUSA: good advice. Raymond: Yeah, I looked at that, but it doesn't look compatible for a suppressor or even access to a thread protector. A friend of mine told me just to buy a 22/45 with the rail / irons (2nd picture above), then call up Ruger and order a underside rail from them. A simple...
