6.5 saum build question.
Im looking to have a 2nd saum built up for competition. I want to get your opinions on barrels be it gain twists, 8 or 8.7 twist, or anything in between. I have always used 130s in my 9.5 - 8.5 gain twist and had good luck at 3100fps. I would like to use 140 hybrids in this rifle. Ill be using...- thumper49802

Suppressors cleaning suppressors?
what is the best method for cleaning your cans. Ive noticed after about 500 or so rounds the SurefireFA762SS gets kinda funky where it attaches on the muzzle device. After solvents and brushes i got the brake cleaned, and swabbed the inside of the locking area on the can per surefires...- thumper49802

Suppressors POI Shift
pappasniper hit the nail on the head. When i went from no can to my surefire FA762SS i had a .4 mil drop directly at 6 oclock. Still grouped under .5". I also have a 24" schneider and the weight alone is what pulled it down. Can came off and bam! right back to zero. Shorter barrels respond...- thumper49802

I know im not going to do online classes and ta da im a gunsmith. Ive been working with lathes, vertical mills, and plenty of hand tooling for about 5 years now, and i just need to find a place where i can take the classes and get the paper qualifications.
