    Re: pillar bedding the Rem. 700 vtr ? i don't think the plastic rem stock is worth the trouble. get the B&C and you'll be alot happier. put my sps-v in a H-S pss stock and its tact driver now.

    how are Leupold Mark AR series of riflescopes? the 3-9 powered are prices really good. but how is the glass... how does it compare to that Weaver tactical 3-9? i am thinking about one of these Leupolds for my 700 sps-v in 223. going to sell my Nikon buckmaster 4-14 power first.

    Re: Model 700™ VTR™ sps-v, sps-tact or the vtr all come with cheap plastic stocks. get one of them and just find another better stock. what i did with my sps-v now seats in a old H-S pss stock. raock sold gun now. oh cut barrel to 18"
