Re: Optics Upgrade Recommendations I think for your purpose and budget, the Aimpoint and magnifier is definitely the way to go. You will be using the straight Aimpoint most of the time and can quickly flip the mag in place for a longer shot. Zero at 50 yds and you should be gtg.

Re: US Optics SN-4 I have one on my SPR setup AR and like it. About as close to a "do it all" optic as you will find for an AR IMHO. I would imagine in that price range most people go for more magnification. The SN-4s seem to be pretty common at 3-gun matches.
