Had the Trophy Series - was a good safe and was confident with the company support and the true fire rating. As far as theft security, well, not much is really 'Proof' with the right tools and/or knowledge and/or ability. Best bang for the buck to me.

Cerakote -- the chosen color will wear via color degradation, but the properties are still doing their thing. If Cosmetics are more the goal, then i'd reconsider and use Krylon or Dura for the touch up abilities.

Latest Gen of Cerakote would be far superior on metal surfaces…. and if I remember right, DuraCoat was more pliable than early Gen Cerakote…… which is why it was Rec'd for plastic/nylon items/AR's and that was 'many' years ago.

Build your own off of a Mega, Noveske GenII, Aero P., POF, Spikes, BCM, DD or ?? big name you want. From there add a POF, KAC or PWS receiver extension (research em and you'll understand why), Springco Blue spring, H2/ST-T2 type buffer. Add KNS Pins and a POF/WC TTU/LWRC? or tuned trigger...

The Midways soft cases have good storage, and seem to hold up pretty well, I have no complaints and are actually a great fit inside a IM3200. good pricing too while on sale. No fancy name, so if you need the Name then look elsewhere

If it needs to be cheap but doable, then the PEPR, and when it breaks, but another…….if it does. Otherwise buy an ADM or Larue or Nightforce etc and be done with it. If your a tall guy and don't, or can't , smash your head down into the stock to get a good sight picture you'll want to consider...

There's an oxymoron, Lightweight and Piston………granted the scope her top heavy, but still is more.... PWS is a great option at 16" and have yet to be concerned about issues, but I find myself grabbing the lighter rifle with Noveske bottom and upper with 16" pipe and Samson Evo 12.37 for end...
