First, let me say, regarding one of your earlier posts, I feel for your disability. At 5 I damaged my neck and have been in pain for 70 years. That kind of pain over such a period of time affects every level of your life. It makes you angry at deep levels. I deal with that anger daily. You can hate me if you want, I can deal with it, but it doesnt do you any good, in fact it damages and destroys the soul and spirit. Believe me, I understand.

Secondly, I dont see any references to Jesus becoming politically involved. None. Ever. He didnt run for mayor or city council. Never enlisted in the Roman army. He walked around and talked to people about God, and how to cecome aligned with Him.

But I do engage the youth, not politically, but scripturely, and with reason. Not looking for pats on the back, but I've been a part of a few young people changing their course in life. I've been considering making a big sign, saying something like "charlie's gone but I'll talk with you.", and sitting near the entrance of a local college. Each of us has their way, I respect Charlie's, but I'd rather avoid the political spectrum. Weathers been kind of misrerable.

Lol, Id like to think we try but we are low in numbers....and I think we tend to stay in the shadows and leave it to the vocal fringes to run roughshot and highjack. But as remaining gen-x (those not lost), becomes more financially secure, I think you will start to see a larger projection.

We understand what challenges you younger generations face. The reason a lot of us are even in this political fight is not to make our retirement years better but to secure safe and prosperous decades for our children, grandchildren, nephews, nices, etc.

Would an impulsive overreaction to the the murder of Charlie Kirk give our side any strategic advantage? Would waiting and giving the very fluent situation some time to reveal major movements and directions put us in a strategic disadvantage? My take is "No" and "No". There is no downside to deferring action and gathering more intel right now.

Give Trump at least a chance to decide what to do with the aunt tiffas and their support networks. They just killed one of his most effective organizers and a very close friend of his son. You think he's going to let this slide?

My prediction is that many of the shitbirds who just skylined themselves by the ten-thousands on social media will worry very soon about a whole lot more than losing their jobs. (BTW, this is a good example why one should avoid impulsive, unreflected reactions to an event)

Get with your peers those who share your experience and can relate. Maybe an intelligent pastor. Learn to laugh again. I understand the anger but its not the way.

Oh good, I wondered when this thread, like so many others, would devolve into blaming those in our past for our current problems. Of course this accomplishes nothing except to foment discord (sound familiar). This accomplishes nothing but does serve the awesome purpose of distraction so that we don’t focus on what can be done today and tomorrow.

What was in the past can only educate, it cannot be changed, and those that live by blaming others can never truly see what needs to be done.

Obviously it’s quite a bit more difficult than that or everyone would take that deal. Reasoning your way to faith is the longest and most difficult road, because in order to start you have to start studying the Bible without the Holy Spirit, and that really only happens when people read it trying to disprove it. Many or most of them end up believing, but Calvinist or Wesleyan, no theologian believes you achieve faith on your own or in your singular mind. Without the connection to the Devine (Christians call it The Holy Spirit) it’s very easy to dismiss it. I know I did for the first part of my life. Excellent point.

The problem in English is that we use the noun "justice" to both describe functions and departments of the legal system but also as a synonym for fairness. The left exploits this inevitable ambiguity.

German has a seperate word "Justiz" for the legal system and uses "Gerechtigkeit" for what we call fairness in English.
The court(room) is interestingly "Gericht", which implies that this is a place where the law "Recht" is supposed to be administered fairly.

Note: do not worry about the pronunciation, just observe how the spelling indicates in which way the words relate or not.
