    help with wildcat name?

I've taken 6.8 Remington SPC brass and expanded the neck to .30 caliber. I'm sure I'm not the first to do this and don't want to order custom dies and reamer if these already exist. Anybody know (for sure, only, please) what the name of this wildcat is? Thanks.

Iron sight suggestions for my G.A. Precision Thunder Ranch?

I used a TRG front sight with a Redfield Olympic rear sight on my handy rifle. I could take off the scope and mount the rear sight quickly in the field. The scope had Leupold QRW rings and the rear sight was thumb-screw attached. It was very fast and easy...

ok, so my second question is: What is the SLOWEST twist barrel (still 26" long) that can stabilize the MIL-SPEC 62 grain SS 109 bullet? Yes, this is being shot out of a high speed cartridge (22-243 Middlested). Thanks

Hey Friends, I'm looking for shooters ACTUAL EXPERIENCE regarding shooting bullets 60 grains and heavier from a 22-250 that has a 1:14 twist barrel. Has anyone had success shooting heavier bullets? Or am I limited to maximum 55 grain bullets? Thanks!

AR15 with 90 grain berger at 2905 fps, impossible? Not so much.

I am very interested in who is building these rifles / uppers and where can they be found? Anyone making a piston version for those of us who like to "run clean"? Also interested in dies, brass and any info on shooting the lighter weight bullets (m855 62 grain penetrators, etc.) including...

    Desert Tech... It's here!

I love .223, but if they enable caliber conversions to 6.8 SPC (and all of its wildcats - 220 Thunderbolt, 6mm Hagar, 5.68 DMR, etc.), Plus 6.5 Grendel and the .308 family of cartridges, this will be the single greatest semi-auto platform ever invented. Besides, after they very justifiably...

AR15 with 90 grain berger at 2905 fps, impossible? Not so much.

I watched this video a dozen times and still couldn't see a splash. It sucks getting old. Anyway, I emailed for info on buying .220 Thunderbolt brass, Dies, ready-to-go AR-15 barrel and bolt. Heck, if I was thinking I would have asked for a complete upper that was range ready. Hopefully I'll...

So am I understanding correctly that the 240 Tomahawk is a modified 6mm Hagar but it still is shooting a 6mm bullet and NOT a .223 bullet?

Help me decide on a barrel

I've personally owned +$300.00 custom triggers that have FAILED in the field. I have never had a stock Rem 700 trigger fail. I personally adjust my own stock Rem triggers and I've never had a problem with them, or making them crisp & light.

Help me decide on a barrel

If a 22 inch barrel is long enough to fire 190 grain SMK's out of a 300 Win Mag, that's certainly long enough to fire 190 grain bullets (and below) out of a .30-06. See SWAT magazine article: SWAT Article BARREL LENGTH
