    new trigger for rem 700 .308

    I am looking for a new trigger for my rem 700 .308 I saw that timney has a tactical trigger that is a strait post at at 10 oz pull. is 10oz too light? if I dont go with the timney what should I look at? I do a lot of hog hunting both real and metal.

    16" Barrel on a rem 700

    I was at the range today and I saw a guy next to me shooting a rem 700 .308 with a really short barrel. I asked and he said he had the barrel cut to 16 inches and its plenty accurate but he did loose a little velocity but not enough to matter because he can still hit 1300 yards. does anyone...

    I am moving. I'm headed to Oak Park, Ventura county Ca (Ka?) and I need a place to shoot a few hundred yds. does anyone know where to go? I know about angeles range but that is all the way in burbank and I am hoping there is a closer range. Pistol ranges would be appreciated too. Thanks
