    Gunsmithing Sealing a wood stock

    I just did the long rifles inc group buy and have been sanding my barrel channel to fit my larger barrel. It's a walnut factory remington stock and I'm thinking about filling the channel with devcon when I bed the action. Can I just put devcon on the bare wood or do I seal it with something first?

    Need a muzzle brake please

    I'm wanting a brake for my build. It's a 7mm-08 with a broughton #5 contour. I want one with side ports not bottom. For hunting the 360* style brakes kick up too much dust for my liking. Not sure if I'm explaining this right so let me know if it's not clear. Thanks. Chad

    I just ordered the PTG stealth. My caliber is 7mm-08. Can I use any AI mag that is for 308? I ask because I was looking at alpha industry mags and they have 243 mags and 308 mags. I figured these would be the same. That's what got me confused. Thanks.
