    Autotrickler v3 or dual chargemaster?

Autotrickler. This is a no brainer. jetsurgeon - I like the test tube idea!

6mm creedmoor brass- Which do you use?

Alpha SRP. Subsequent research from alpha makes me regret going to SRP but I’m staying with it until my next round of brass purchases. Love the alpha brass though.

So I measued headspace on a bunch of fired cases and... You tell me.

Ya I agree with Spife. But I found that my technique was not good enough to overcome the deficiencies in the Hornady tool, so I opted for an immediate fix. I like the Redding product too but my recollection is that it doesnt work with a co-ax.

    Calibration weight for Fx120i scale

I agree with Sheldon. Consitency matters, not the absolute value. I bought the Class 1 check weight but find no point in using over the cheap set...

So I measued headspace on a bunch of fired cases and... You tell me.

I find the Hornady gauges can lead to inconsistent results. Try this. Number some cases with a sharpie, and then measure with the Hornady. Then sort the cases and measure again, without looking at the number. The goal is to NOT know the measurement you got before for each case. Then...

What's Your Favorite Brass and Why

Ive been really impressed with alpha brass in my 6 mm creed, using small rifle primers. Otherwise it's been lapua for me in 260 rem, 6.5 x47L, and 6.5 Creed.

Reloading Scales: What is an accurate, electronic scale?

Sartorius entris 64 is a more accurate scale compared to the 120i but the extra accuracy probably does not matter. I use them both interchangeably. I cross check my charges all the time and I never have to make any adjustments to a powder throw (like pulling a kernel out) after checking with...

A&D FX120i labscale reloading upgrade with V2 auto trickler review.

Here is my setup. I’m running two auto tricklers, one with a Sartorius Entris 64 and one with the A&D. I have them both mounted on a couple of marble tiles with foam between the tiles for vibration dampening. I run the Dillon off a separate bench to keep the vibrations from affecting the...

Reloading Scales: What is an accurate, electronic scale?

I have all of the above options except the Prometheus, which in my opinion is now obsolete. You could literally run two (maybe even three) sartotius setups with full auto tricklers for less money than a Prometheus. My advice is to start with the A&D scale, because it is fast, accurate, and...

#4 one inch screws did the trick.

A&D FX120i labscale reloading upgrade with V2 auto trickler review.

I emailed Adam and he replied immediately. He thinks these might work: https://www.mcmaster.com/90048a113 I think the 419 lid is just under 1/2 inch, so a 3/4 inch screw might just do the trick. BTW if you are reading this thread and you haven't pulled the trigger on the Auto Trickler...

A&D FX120i labscale reloading upgrade with V2 auto trickler review.

Hey I got the same issue with the 491 lid. I have looked for longer screws that could work but haven’t found a winner at the big box hardware stores. Does anyone know the specs of screws that would work with the original housing and the 419 lid?

New To Reloading, gear list missing anything?

That’s a good list. Here are my suggestions. - Forster Co-ax Now, don’t wait. If you are shooting 500 rounds per month, go with the co-ax. Only problem is that you may not realize how awesome it is unless you start with the boss first. . . Also, if you get the co-as you can ditch the primer...

    A&D fx120i and power conditioner?

I asked the guy at balances.com about this. He is a great source for high end scales like the A&D FX 120i and the Sartorius Entris. Here is what he said in response: "If you find your electric supplier does not delivery good electricity then a line / power conditioning...

I tried and tried to avoid this subforum! :-8

I wish I had Spife's email when I first started precision reloading. I have wasted a butt ton of money on crap I subsequently replaced. I've also come to the strongly held view that forster custom honed full length sizing dies are the best sizing dies for what we do

    Annealeez replacement power supply

Can anyone who owns one of these do me a solid. I lost my power supply in a move and I gotta get some annealing done. Does anyone have the specs for the power supply, or can someone post a picture of the power supply showing the specs? It'll say something like "Output 9v --- 500mA" I have...

    Autotrickler/autothrow powder pan info solicitation

ZY100 - have you measured the wall of the cup with a micrometer to ensure that it has less than .001" of variation in thickness throughout the cup? maybe we could see if 21st century can machine a mandrel for the neck turning lathe so that we could trim the sides down to a consistent thickness.
