    I'd go Bergara Pro hands down. I have the HMR in 6.5 and my son in .308, the Hunter B14 in .243 and the Ridge in .270. All out shoot me by a long shot and easily sub MOA using off the shelf ammo. The Bergara's are Remington 700s with a nicer trigger, higher quality, better barrels, etc. I've...

    Bergara B-14 Ridge 270 Win

    I used the Hornady ELDx in my Ridge .270. I love the gun but it's really too long for hunting especially when you throw a can on it. It did ok with the Hornady blacks and whitetails. All were sub-MOA at 100. POI definitely changed between the rounds so make final adjustments once you/he decides.
