Watch Out for Scammers!
We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
I use SoFi, they allow direct deposit into a checking account and you can setup either auto buys of crypto or manually login and instantly buy with your direct deposit funds. My direct deposits also show up much earlier here (by 2 days in my case). Only downside is no crypto withdraws (can...
I have visible, but I really just use the phone for calls. Works just as well as Verizon did for that. They have a 'group' feature that puts your bill at $25 per month. The group can be total strangers, tons of signup links posted on forums and social media to find one. My internet on it has...
Yahoo is reselling visibles service. Visible (with a very easy to find group to join, message me if you need help getting one) is $25 per month, exact same service. I'm also excited for starlink, not because my internet service is slow but because they have a monopoly in my area. I'm looking...
People ask...if they are good friends I'll give them a few rounds, but I'd do that panic or not. And because they are good friends they would and have done the same when I'm in need. People who just happen to know me and that I'm a gun guy cannot buy my stock market purchases at last year's...
What do you plan on using it for? I made the switch to linux almost 2 years ago now. Battery life is great, my 2013 laptop is snappy again, and for actual work it's been great. The learning curve isn't that difficult and my computer doesn't tell me it has to update in the middle of doing my...
I love my 550. First press I bought, and the learning curve isn't that hard. There's tons of videos and it's easy enough as a single stage until your comfortable. That said, after I started loading instead of learning how, I wished I would have gotten the 750 (650 at the time..) first. Remember...
I have both triggers on separate JP builds, I prefer the roller trigger but it definitely required some getting used to. They both shoot as well as I can, so no accuracy improvement for me.
Found some in case anyone else opened this thread on the same search: https://www.armorally.com/shop/hornady-55-fmj-bullets/ Not the best prices (like 2-3 cents above normal price per round), but available and half what gunbroker is looking for. Swore off google because of election nonsense...
Just projectiles, have plenty of brass primers and powder. GunBroker does appear to have a selection, but they are all pretty close in price to 69smks once the shipping and cc fee's get tacked on.
Looking for something inexpensive (for the times..) 55gr fmj. I've got plenty of heavier projectiles, just don't want to waste them shooting at man sized targets out to 400 for me and my better half. Can't find anything in stock, I just need 2k or so. Anyone got a lead they could pass along? Or...
Wow what a great speech. I rarely take the time to watch or listen to videos, this one is absolutely worth it. Take the 20 minutes, it's very, very worthwhile.
In the summertime for the past 5 years I've been wearing these cargo pants: https://amzn.to/2Uyf3pR They keep me cool, and I own a small farm and have yet to destroy them with the exception of a pair I melted a hole into accidentally on a hot 2 stroke engine. On the plus side, they didn't...
Didn't the older S&W M&P15s use polygonal barrels? No experience with them, but might be a starting point for finding basic info on the barrels rifled that way.
Sign up for a local Appleseed. Best training you can get for $60, and very beginner friendly. Plus it's a ton cheaper (and easier imo) to learn fundamentals on a .22.
