I wasn't about to get the PRS Lite due to LOP concerns, but you guys have renewed my interest in it. Anyone else had trouble using Aero buffer tube? The earlier post also makes me wonder if I should avoid aero tube. This is for my Aero M5 .308 build.
Re: Reducing the Length of Pull for my AICS 1.0 stock? That's a great idea about cutting it down. I'll see if i can do that myself unless i can find someone who wants to trade a slim one for my full one. Is the plastic hollow or solid on the inside? If I cut it, would it affect the...
The AICS 1.0 stock I have for the R700 is just slightly too long for me. I had thought AICS had a buttplate composed of layers that I can remove to get it shorter. Upon closer examination, it looks to be be a single piece of plastic, rather than multiple disks that I thought it had. So how would...

Re: Is Burris Fullfield II scope decent? Thanks Ranger Mac. Mainly I'm thinking of it as a hunting scope on Tikka T3 Lite .308. I think it might be a worthy scope for a light gun. On the other hand, if it's better than what I'm giving it credit for, I'd put it on the Rem700LTR that I have...
Just got brand new Burris Fullfield II 3-9x40 scope in trade. Optics look pretty decent to me, comes with ballistic reticle. I'm wondering what's the concensus on it. If it's not worth using, then I might as well sell/trade it as a new scope, instead of letting scope rings mar the finish.
I have this Remington 700P .308 26" bbl in AICS 1.0 skin. The rifle shoots great MOA, and right now has a Nikon Tactical 2.5-10x44 on a Badger base. The Nikon Tactical is a great scope, it's the old model name that's the same as the Nikon Monarch X Tactical as seen here...
here's my AICS 1.0 with Rem700 action. It's a great set up, but I only have a 5rd mag. Does anyone know where to get more mags, particularly the 10rd mags.
There appears quite a few changing out the bottom metal and hinged mag plate to detachable magazine. I'm wondering if the DM is an important feature in sniper rifle?
Re: Cost of LTR's? Aren't LTR discontinued? I think it's been somewhat replaced by 700 SPS Tactical, and the new XCR Tactical. Maybe that's why the demand shot up.
Re: My latest project rifle...CETME/HK91 Clone! How's the bolt gap? CETME by Century were notorious for their half-assed assembly and grinding down bolt to fit. It looks very nice though!
Re: poor man setup I guess it really depends on what is "poor man" definition. Here it appears that $1000 is in poor man's realm. If I was on AR15.com "poor man" set up would more like a $500 AR, or $300 AK. I spent $1200 for this complete set up, like new condition as previous owner only...

Re: Damn !, .Savage looking pretty good tonight. very nice rifle, but that M4 type buttstock is just cheesy. They should at least put on a Magpul UBR or something
Re: Remington 700 AICS stock questions Is the AICS 1.0 still available? How much cost savings is there compared to 1.5? I just thought to throw that in as an option if it'll save some money further. I recently got a Remington 700 with ACIS 1.0, I didn't buy the stock separately, so I didn't...
Re: No "Trigger Creep" in cocked but creep in decocked I see, thanks for the info. So it looks the trigger doesn't have much creep, but there's some overtravel. Is the Remington700 pre-X-Mark trigger adjustable for over travel?
