Re: Sooo i may make the trip across the big pond. You can see everything you need to see West of the Mississippi, my .02. If you must see more, catch a plane from Seatac to Alaska.
Afternoon All, I am close to the Tunica, MS area. Are there any tactical competitions/shoots/etc within 6 or 8 hours of here? I am here for work for 8 more months and need an expensive hobby to fill my time when I am not at work. Not really set on any one thing, if it involves guns and...
Re: My letter to the DNR in AL Also, you could strengthen your argument greatly in instances like. I know several other states allow supressorsblah blah. Name those states, provide examples. Some f and game employee isnt just going to take your word on it. If you have to say what your...
Re: My letter to the DNR in AL Omit this line, It is not so much the fully automatic firearms section I am concerned about, as I don't see why anyone would need to hunt game with any weapon of that type Since when do we have to "need" something. That phrase plays no part in your argument...
Re: Black nitrade / melonite review of the guns i have Ohiofarmer, I think your on to something. Someone tell me if I am thinking right. The tan looks cool, but being softer, wont do as good as job preventing barrel erosion as black correct?
Re: 6.5 wsm Twist rate Someone on here as done it, cant remember the name. Mulehunter or something close to it??? He seems to like it, last time I talked to him about it.
Re: Need some welder guru help How much do you have to spend? I learned on an ARC welder but MIG is far and away easier for me to make things pretty with. If I were you Id go check out a hobart/lincoln mig model with gas. Should be able to get setup for under a grand. Get a good autoshade...
Re: Delta Region Shooters? Ok. Somebody has got to live somewhere nearby. Any eastern Arkansas/Western Mississippi guys on here? I need a hobby outside of work.....
Moving to the Delta for work. Anyone in the region know of places to shoot/want to go sometime? I have absolutely no idea what this place has to offer shooting wise.
Re: What to look for in an ATV? Best driven belt drive one, from one tester, sure. Hardly applies to Honda since they dont make a belt driven one....Honda has multiple trannies in its lineup, has for quite some time.
Re: What to look for in an ATV? A lot depends on if you recreate with one, or "use" one. We put probably 30-40 miles a day on average on all of ours. There are very few brands that will take that kind of use for any substantial duration of time. Many people claim reliability but only have...
Re: What to look for in an ATV? If it has Honda written on the side of it odds are it will last longer than you will want to drive it if properly taken care of. Not the fastest of the flashiest, but reliability is second to none.
Re: Custom Actions Melonite G2G List Much appreciated C. Dix. Just wondered if any of you guys knew offhand. As I remember Stiller advised against and Bighorn & Bat said it was ok. Couldnt remember what any of the other makers said. Guess I should probably go pick up the phone at...
Sorry guys didnt see it when I searched. Anybody have the thread (or remember?) which custom actions were g2g for melonite/nitriding? I know some were ok and some were not. Thanks.
