Re: AR in 6.5 Grendel The 6.8 I put together myself. I got the barrel from Black Hole Weaponry and it is a shooter for sure. As for the Grendel I got used from a buddy and it was built by Scott Milkovich from Specialized Dynamics. It is a shooter as well. Scott seems pretty backed up right...- drakeky

Re: .204 Ruger AR Build I built one a few years back and went with a 24" Shilen match barrel. One thing you will have to consider is what bullets you want to shoot. You will have the option to pick a 1:12 or 1:10, typically, twist barrel. I went with the 1:12. Mine shoots everything VERY well...- drakeky

6.5 grendel AA upper
Re: 6.5 grendel AA upper I have a 22" barreled 6.5 grendel upper that I absolutely love. I am in the process of finding me one with a 16-18" barrel as well. Really want a 16" to go along with my 22" upper. I could use it for a more specific type of hunting gun but I really love the caliber.- drakeky
