    22 LR AR choice

Re: 22 LR AR choice I have a couple CMMG uppers and they have been very reliable. I had one of them cut down to 4.5” and it is still very reliable with and without a suppressor.

    .22LR Ammo

Re: .22LR Ammo I like CCI standard velocity. It is not plated but works well if your barrel is not short enough to keep other ammo subsonic. I have not had much luck with Remington subsonic. Buy in Bulk I buy it at Dick's Sporting goods if I need it locally. Specs

    Plum Crazy Lowers?

Re: Plum Crazy Lowers? You might try New Frontier. I've heard that they are made on the same mold but with a stronger polymer. It is worth a try for $99 bucks for a complete lower.

    tula 5.56 ammo?

Re: tula 5.56 ammo? I have not had any problems with it for plinking. I've never shot it off a bench but it is accurate enough for my needs. I'm pretty sure it is a lead core.

    Transferable M16...

Re: Transferrable M16... The last year has been a sellers’ market for MG’s especially for the RDIAS’s. As of late, the RDIAS’s have all but disappeared on the boards. If they do pop up, people are snatching them up for 15K to 17K. I’m not sure if I could bring myself to pay that for a...

    AR?

Re: AR? Between the two, I would get the S&W. Bushmaster just doesn't seem to have the quality that they use to.

Suppressors SBR Lower with Different Uppers

Re: SBR Lower with Different Uppers I don't think there is a specific form, they just request that you send them a letter explaining the change so they can update their records.

    ruger mini 6.8 spc

Re: ruger mini 6.8 spc It was discontinued in 2012 due to slow sales. This is not surprising since they had the original chamber and not the updated spec II.

Suppressors SBR Lower with Different Uppers

Re: SBR Lower with Different Uppers As mentioned, you can attach any length and any caliber upper you want. They do “request” that you notify them of any permanent configuration change. As long as you still have the 10” 5.56 upper, you are GTG.

Anyone use loctite on muzzle brake?

Re: Anyone use loctite on muzzle brake? As stated above, rockset is the way to go. Make sure you only use a couple of drops. It can be a bear to get the FH off if you use too much. I've never had a problem with them backing off or removing them when the rockset was applied properly.

    6.8 spc magazine

Re: 6.8 spc magazine As stated above, the PRI’s are top notch. If you reload, they will allow you to load out to ~2.300. C Products Defense is just about to release their new 6.8 mags which should also allow for the longer COL.

    Question on M-16 barrel work

Re: Question on M-16 barrel work More than likely, the gas port will need to be enlarged a little (gas tube stays the same). A shop like ADCO can take care of it. I have a cut down 11.5” barrel that runs fine in semi and FA. I did add a Noveske Switchblock which is nice when running a...
