I bought one of the BSAs off of the board to put on a 16.5" .223 bolt gun just to see if I liked FFP so far the tracking is true and visual acuity at max mag is pretty good. the knobs are a little mushy but have good audible and tactile clicks. is it as good as my loopys or vortex,no but it does...
well I have not heard from Vortex but I received a tracking number from fedex today. they got the optic on 12/6 and sent a return notification on 12/9. not to shabby
my 6X24 pst just did the same thing after 2 years of being beat to death. UPS got it today so I will see what they say. mine has been a very good optic up until now so I feel good that all will end well. I have cranked the hell out of this scope from 1k to suppressed subs and I have spotted...
look what you guys made me do :) I found this rifle to be very hard to deal with in the field with a 24" barrel and a 9" can hanging on the end. after looking this thread over I decided to hack it down a little. I had it cut at 16.5" threaded and recrowned by Dallas Shooting Supplies. I will get...
my Savage 10 FCP-K with 1-10 twist stabalizes 208gr A-Max subs very well. through my YHM 7.62Ti can it sounds like a dry fire untill the round strikes the target. it is so quite it makes me giggle like a little girl. what the others are saying about supers is very true. I shot an axis deer with...
I won mine in a raffle and love it. I seems to really like Hornady Zombie Max (all I can find locally since the Rush) and shoots SWammunition 175 grain around .5 MOA. I have been using it in the field and I find that the 24" barrel is too much to lug around while suppressed. I should be getting...
Re: Vortex Viper PST 6--24x50 FFP I finally got a chance to shoot my 6-24 SFP yesterday. wow! ran it out to 750 yds. I am very impressed with the quality. I went from zeroing a new gun to 750 in 20 minutes.

Re: just showing off ok I guess setting up eye relief at night looking at lights is not the way to go FIFY. I had a chance to look at my luepy side by side with the Vortex and it looks like I need to order another Vortex . the recticle on this thing is perfect for my needs.
Re: just showing off sfp on the optics. I actually like the ability to change power levels and multiplier of mils. as far as action choice I have owned or shot just about everything out there. I like the Savage for consistant accuracy and features out of the box. they all work well but the...
Re: just showing off new rings are in the near future. those were left overs from another setup. the eye relief is spot on for myself and the wife unit. I was suprised at how long the eye relief was.
I just got done putting it together today.Savage 10 FCP-K in .308 and the Vortex PST 6-24X50 that just arrived today. I am very impressed by these optics. I can not wait to get it to the range and look at it side by side with my luepy.
