Please let us know how this works for you. Have you tested the limits of your LRF, it would be nice to know if it extends your range any.

Newest toy: M2013/KRG Whiskey-3 in 300wm by HHC

I love the look of the M2013 and KRG combos. I think I will start saving toward this being my next build.

    newbie here

243 will be much better, especially for long range use. So, are you having a gunsmith build you a rifle with parts you will select, or are you looking for a factory rifle that will cover your needs?

190gr Nosler Accubond Long Range in 300wsm anybody?

I would use Sierra's load data for their 190SMK. Its all just to get you close anyhow. You will have to determine the max load for YOUR rifle by watching your pressure signs.

    newbie here

Make sure you do your homework on the twist rates, most factory 22-250s wont have the twist rate to shoot the really heavy bullets. With out that you might as well do a 223 with a fast twist rate.

    SIG SSG3000 loads

Sounds like a crap rifle, I will buy it from you real cheap. Just kidding. Im surprised that it wont shoot factory match ammo. I remember reading some impressive articles about the accuracy of that rifle with factory match ammo. What combinations were the best that you have gotten out of it so...

    Decent Budget Shooting Mat

I like the Eberlestock Magic Carpet Eberlestock: Magic Carpet Shooting Mat. And it has a waterproof bottom, so you stay dry on wet ground.

    6mm Remington or pass

I neck it down in my 260 die first, a 7-08 would work fine too. I take out the decaping rod and expander ball, then run the (well lubed with imperial wax) shell all the way up, tighten the die until it is touching the case, bring the case down, tighten the die 1/4 turn and run the case up, then...

Need a WOA float tube bipod adapter

Thanks Wareagle. But if I use the picatinny rail then I need another adapter to mount to the rail for the bipod to attach to and I think it will look like a sore thumb. Im hoping to mount the bipod directly to the float tube, to me it just looks cleaner that way.

    6mm Remington or pass

I started making 6mm Rem brass from 270win and 30-06 brass. I think I have the process down well enough that I am going to buy a box of Lapua 30-06 and make my self a batch of 6mm Rem from that.

I have a upper with a WOA match float tube https://www.whiteoakarmament.com/xcart/product.php?productid=17688&cat=256&page=1 and I would like to find an adapter to mount a Harris bipod. Does anyone know if there is a Harris adapter that fits this tube? I have been looking and all I can find is...

Vortex 30x Mil reticle eyepiece question

If I were going to put the fixed 30X mil reticle eyepiece on a Razor spotting scope, would there be any reason to go with the 16-48x or 20-60x over the 11-35x? I want a dual purpose scope that is light weight for hunting and also something for target shooting use. So, I don't see any reason to...

Hunting & Fishing I need a day pack.

Vote for Eberlestock. I have a few of their packs. I just got the Blue Widow with the Spike duffel, bow carrier, rain cover, and extra pouch for $200 used. Its perfect for a day pack that you can put meat in. I use it for my backpack hunting trips. I can carry 10+days of gear and food out. Set...

    load development for 5R Milspec

You can easily reverse calculate your MV. Shoot a target at distance, note your environmental conditions and come ups. Plug all your info in to a ballistic calculator like thishttp://www.jbmballistics.com/cgi-bin/jbmtraj-5.1.cgi and play with the velocity until the calculators come ups match yours.

    .223 brass processing head setup Dillon S1050 / RT1500

I would use the 650 to trim my brass, then put the trimmed cases into the 1050 and load away. Much easier than readjusting the 1050 every time you need to trim. I guess that is if you have a 650 as well.

    Judging ladder results

Its not that longer distances are better. Its the small increments you are going up in powder. At 400yds it wont show much of a "ladder" because the muzzle velocity from your min to your max load isn't changing much. Which results in a tight, hard to read, group. By extending the distance you...
