Re: Viet Nam era scopes ... Rainer, good point, BUT, the first semi auto "Sniper rifle" was the M1 Garand Delta model (M1D). It was used in Korea and early Vietnam. It had a M84 scope which is not in the pic above.... Great Collection !!!!

Re: Back into bowhunting, little slickhead practice. Z7 is one smooooooth shooter. My luck was the same as yours, decided it was time for a new Mathews so I gave my Q2 to my new brother in law, bought a z7 and then the whole new line up came out....... Maybe would have went with the z7...
Re: Emerson CQC-10 I have carried a CQC 10 for about a year and a half and still LOVE it. I got the plain edge just because its so quick and easy to sharpen. Serrated takes a bit longer to sharpen. Very good knife. Comes razor sharp and holds a great edge.
Re: What Broadheads do you use? For many years when I shot fixed broadhead I preferred Thunderhead 100's and also Muzzy's. They were both GREAT. But now I am a Rage fan, shot quite a few deer and 1 turkey and never had one run more then 100 yds and always leaves a HUGE blood trail.
