I have a Bartlein 30 cal 8 twist SS Heavy Varmint 31" from a cancellation of a 300 PRC build

What part of the mid south are you in ? So keeping the barrel?

Would you be interested in selling the .308 sans barrel I have a 1-8 Bartlein SS blank I was preparing to turn in to a 300 PRC for a buddy But his health went south big time where he probably is done with shooting for good.

Hey with a 16” barrel that’s damn respectable. I had a 19” tight bore 308 that shot 1/2 moa and ran 2775 at the muzzle .

X-caliber ... So how well does it group?

What gen and barrel mfg on the .308? Assuming it’s 11/8-20 thread for barloc.
