I always figured that the high velocity/shooting low (not necessarily high) was more of a resonance thing. But when you get the bullets in good light, you could very well make the case that the aerodynamics are all over the place from bullet to bullet.

You might find someone willing to pay $100 for it, but every take off barrel I have sold (4 now) have been for right around that mark. Those were all local sales, maybe throwing the net wider on here will get you some extra $$$.

I tried an undersized magnet a year ago and became frustrated that I still had to shake every pieces of brass. Does the stronger magnet help with that? I gave up thinking that I was going to have to tap each piece of brass regardless. Is this still the case? Or is their a better mousetrap?

I don’t see it as tearing them down. I think it’s great. I shot a 30” target at 3300 yards screwing around on the ranch one day and it took me 25 shots. It was a blast. I wouldn’t be going around posting about it being awesome though.

I tend to hunt in cold weather as well, but honestly, I don’t see it as an issue. Most of the time it is on my back or shoulder. If it is truly that cold, I am wearing gloves.
