I have a couple of TRG's with fixed stocks and was thinking of adding a rail on the bottom of the stock to try a mono-pod, I have never used one, always used...

    Tikka Sporter reports?

I have a T3 Sporter in .260 Rem, shoots in the 0.3's with handloads. I used the Tikka Shooters 20moa rail, seemed to fit good after a little tweaking. It's basically your standard Tikka varmint in a large laminated stock. They all shoot about as good as you can expect a factory gun to...

    T3 Sporter

I have one in .260 Rem and it shoots great! I got .30-06 mags for it and replaced the bolt stop so I can load the rounds as long as I want, all the way to lands and still lots of extra mag room. Still feeds flawlessly! I got my scope rail from Tikka Shooters.com, works great!

Re: Sako TRG-22 .260 best group ever I have been using CCI BR2 Primers, and 42.0 gr H4350. Shot a .383" and .404" with the 142's, the only two groups since I broke it in. It seems like it wants to shoot. I am going to load some 139's and see how that goes, and try different lengths, from...

Sako TRG-22 .260 best group ever

Re: Sako TRG-22 .260 best group ever finbox, Are you at the lands with the COAL of 2.875 (139's) and 2.855" (142's)? What is the max length that you can get in your magazines? In my T3, I can only get 2.825" in my supplied mag, but I can use the long mag which gives me 3.350", which allows...

Re: Sako TRG-22 .260 best group ever I have a Tikka T3 Sporter in .260 Rem and it also shoots very well. I have been shooting 142 Sierras, loaded about 0.010" into the lands, which gives me a overall length of 2.980". I was wondering how long your loaded length is, and if you are loading to...
