    I may be wrong, but I don't think a chambered barrel is hand lapped. I thought all lapping is done both prior to and after rifling. Like I say, I might be wrong like usual.

    I'd do as most have suggested. But I'd at least check, that when you put the action into the stock and the rear of the recoil lug is against the stock's lug abutment, your action screws aren't riding against the pillars.

    I'd get a hold of Geissele and request a set of pins. I believe they are slightly oversized to fit snugly into your lower unless your lower is slightly worn or slightly overspec.

    What Bipod on your AI Stock

    I currently have 5 Harris and 3 Atlas. On my AICSs, I'm running both. Don't really know if I want to spend the money to get another Atlas and spigot when the Harris is working well for me. I agree with Where's-Waldo, that the Harris is quicker to deploy, adjust (notched) and stow.

    I'd just use a snug fitting wooden dowel to fill the hole all the way through and use your putty or bondo of choice to patch the skin.

    Gunsmithing NSS Rem-Age recoil lug pin and Manners Mini-Chassis

    Make sure you dry fit it first to make sure you have an issue. The way the mini chassis is, the action actually contacts the upper sides. If the pin does interact at the bottom, I would just either file or dremel it down flush.
