- Anyone on here from southwest Florida area? I would like to meet some local shooters to meet up and shoot at Webb Management area or someone that has access to a private range or property that offers more than 200yds of range. I would be willing to pay anyone to shoot locally on private land...
I just threaded my bolt handle and installed an EGW tactical knob on my short action 700. Looks and works great, but when cycling the bolt fast the bolt sticks at it rear most position. Probably due to the extra leverage from the longer handle. Do you guys think it has to do with the bolt stop...

Re: .308 Purchase - would like opinions I would look into a Surgeon rifle. And second choosing another caliber. Why would you spend so much money for a rifle in .308? Might as well shoot for the moon. Go with a 7 mag or 338lm. I would want a rifle of this quality to have better ballistics for...
My Mosin Build -Well I've been debating whether or not to post my build because I simply didn't know if it would influence you down the right or wrong path of the LR game. What you should do is look into buying a used remington or savage in say .223 and learn the basics. Start with something...
Re: Urban SWAT Wow. I'm in love. What would the price be for us normal folk on an identical build? How long of a wait on the build? This is truly a beauty.

Re: Baking Duracoat on Optics? Well. It states 3 hours at 180 degrees I just hope that someone will chime in and tell me yes or no. 180 degrees dosent seem very hot and I'm sure a few of my optics have seen temps like that in my car in the Florida sun. Still unsure. I contacted someone at...
Re: Baking Duracoat on Optics? Thanks for the replies, I should have been more specific. I am talking about durabake here. I am using normal duracoat for the camo patterns, but I am using durabake on a few things like the bolt knob, handle, and optics/ turrets so they can be touched up later...
I just got my duracoat camo-packs and am getting ready to spray some of my bolt guns. What precautions do you guys take when baking duracoated scopes? Can the heat harm your optics in any way? Any input is appreciated.
Re: Black Is Beautiful I like it and nice job. The McMillan camo is only cool until you show up to the range and two people have the identical stock. I'm about to do my sps tactical in all white with some tan and thin black lines kinda like tall grass but only here-and-there around the stock.
-Hey guys. Was talking to a friend who happens to be a 'smith and I let him take a look at my newest project. This is a Rem XR100 IN 204 ruger. Now being that its a single shot with a solid bottom action, I bedded the whole action except for obviously the trigger well. I showed him how well it...
