I’m not sure what you guys are talking about. The 17 has one of the softest recoil for all my other 308’s. The 20s has even less recoil than the 17. I own both.
isn’t that just a myth? I’ve ran that same mount on my 17 for 3 years with no issues. I’ve heard of some cheaper optics not being able to hold up to it, but never heard of a decent scope breaking on a scar.
I went to the gun store on Saturday to buy another DD V7 pistol, but walked away with this little girl instead. Although it was a toss up between this and a Armorlite 50bmg. But I just couldn’t justify the 50 cal with only being a range toy and not very practical. anyways, I was having...
I've never heard of them until today. I did see where the Description said it was tuned by Geissele. So are these triggers going to be much better then a standard?
I did one more quick search again and found a ALG Defense Quality Mil-Spec Trigger at bravo company. So for the same price as that DPMS one I figured I'd give it a try
Yes I agree. It's sexy looking with that hand guard on it. I think that was the thing mostly that drew me too it. It was between the Ruger and a core 15 with full length hand guards. They were the same price, do it was a no brainier for me.
It depends on the rifles use. If you got a range gun then it's probably not needed. But all of my rifles get broken in first. I hear people say all the time that my guns group well. Is it because I break them in? It could be. I have never tried not breaking a barrel in so I can't comment on...
I was scoping out the LGS the other day and saw a few things that caught my eye. One was a core 15 with full length hand guard, and the other was a Ruger SR-556E. I've had a crap ton of AR's in the past but all of them have been DI's. I really wasn't in the market for another AR, but for some...
Went to my LGS on Saturday to kill some time. While looking around I noticed two savages sitting on the Shelf, one all black the other was digital camo. I asked to see them both. After fondling them both for about 10 mins I started wheeling and dealing for a better price. I came home with a...
Re: Savage F/TR Loving it so far. I took it to a varmint shoot back in August and scored a 187 out of 190 score. For a stock rifle, I don't think you can beat a savage. My 700's can't hold a stick to this beast
