    BAT actions vs Stiller actions

I have a BAT tactical action on my 6.5CM. I have not had experience with stiller but it is as nice as anything else I have tried. The melonite is not bullet proof FYI. Have some pitting on the rear tang; consider cerakoting the outside if you get one.

Sidearms & Scatterguns PPQ rear sight problem

I have had all manner of striker fired pistols in the past. I am essentially a 1911 guy now with the exception of a PPQ Navy, because it is great. The trigger and ergos are super. The only thing that is marginal are the sights. Don't loc tite, just ditch them for Dawson precision aftermarket...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Springfield EMP feed issues

I think the earlier EMPs SN <2600 had ftf issues having to do with feed ramp angles. My wife's emp has similar problems. This post reminds me to call SA after the holidays to arrange repair. Haven't addressed the issue for years as the gun rarely gets used. I do recall that HP were worse than...

    Neck Expanding Mandrel Dies

I use the M die for pistol and like it for that since it all gets taper crimped in the end. Not something I'd use for rifle as per your reasoning above. I do use the Sinclair and like it well enough, use it mostly for new brass, particularly Lapua. No experience with the K&M. I expand before...

Who DOES NOT clean the copper out of the bore?

It was Caylen. PR1 in Yakima. I am pretty cautious about what information I accept/absorb. My general take on things is that most everyone and everything I hear is useless. But there are a few people that know what they are talking about. Caylen has my respect. My buddy who took the course...

Who DOES NOT clean the copper out of the bore?

Along the same lines as above. I took a rifle course awhile ago where the instructor only cleaned his bolt rifle for carbon before he put it away. Never for copper. He was over 3000 rounds with no accuracy or reliability problems. None that I could see anyways. My experience/opinion is...
