We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
That looks like a pretty typical group for my SCAR-H but then again I did the trigger upgrade and it really helped. I am also running the 3-18x Mk6 on the rifle. It looks like you got a really good one!
Why pay for a KX3 when you can get the same thing for 1/4 of the price? Put a KAK industry flashcan on it. I did and it works great! KAK INDUSTRY 5/8-24 "SLIMLINE FLASH CAN" They have several models to choose from.
The PredatOBR uses a proprietary wrench to engage multiple cutouts in the barrel nut. That system works great and with only about 1/8" turn to secure it. I would tell you I prefer if it had some sort of click to indicate it is indexed completely but I have yet to see a POI shift that bothered my...
Put it this way, if you get a barrel from Wilson COMBAT, whomever makes the darn thing, it will be a high quality consistent shooter. I have had several and they are all WELL under 1 MOA. My 6.8 shoots around .5 MOA on a good day and that makes me happy happy happy!
Does "FL" stand for FrogLube or FLorida? The stuff is slick and good to go in general, in warm climates. Florida gun owners would have no issues that I can see but cold weather will put the brakes on that if its used any more than sparingly. @ MARKCO, did you notice any 'stickiness' from the...
I was thinking of getting some Truglo TFO's for my G19. I like how visible they are during the day. It is really in your face bright. You cant miss with those. I have Mepro and Trij on several others and during the day they pretty much just look like semi-white dots. TFO shouts, POA POI! Now...
Those of you with the FrogLube feedback, I understand several have said its just a wipe down job to clean with little need for scrubbing. Is this because you are using the paste and laying it on in a thick coating so the carbon actually just gums up into the lube? Or are you doing the heat treat...
7.62 Larue Tactical PredatOBR This is my new 14.5" tOBR wearing a field grade barrel. I did a barrel/handguard swap with another guy and went from my 16" FG rifle and ended up with a 14.5. The match barrel will be a 16.1" once it's delivered so I will have both barrel lengths!
Mark Larue has dropped several prompted hints on an ARFCOM thread regarding alternate calibers for the PredatOBR's and specifically it seems 338 Federal for the 7.62 models is one up for consideration if I translated his posts correctly. I have also seen some 6.5, 300blk and 6.8 requests...
Wilson Combat makes some bad ass barrels for the Glock with accuracy guarantee of 2" or less at 25yds. I'd point you to them if you want a fairly inexpensive and immediate major upgrade. Plus it's a WC made item, which means quality regardless. Match Grade Barrel | 9mm | Glock 17 | 4.49" |...
Larue had a thread today which announced that some people ordered last week and were called to pay for the rifle ready to be shipped the next day! So things have changed and the backlog appears to be coming down.
I just got my second Mk6, this one is a 1-6x and the glass is just as perfect as my 3-18x but the illumination sucks on this thing. I'm calling Leupold today because this so called flicker issue? It just won't do...you have what appears to be about a 3 degree FOV before you lose the red dot.
The jack holes in line are generally the ones selling at gun shows. They know the shipping schedules for these stores. The average joe looking on a store shelf doesn't stand a chance.
