Re: Coyote calls ? I like a call called Criter-Call it's a open reed call and you can make real good tone and sounds with it. Also the johnny sturt rabbit call it sounds real good and is very easy to use.

Here are a couple of buffs I shot In Zimbabwe one charged and after it was hit 9 time 3 with 1 458 Win 3 with a 416 Rem and 3 with 458 Lott I hit it at 12 yards with my 505 gibbs Dead. The other I shot stright on at 147 yards with my 505 gibbs one shot kill the bullet went almost all the way...

Re: 1903 Springfield The Group was shot at 100yards. I'm still playing with loads for it but it will do the job. It has the Orig. Barrel on it so it shoots better than I though. I found the scope on Gun Brokers Just by luck. Thank you for the comints

Re: USMC Mod 70 Carlos had to push the scope back because he took off the return spring. My Unertl on my M70 has the spring where my 1903 sniper does not and I have to put it back into place to shoot

Re: frustrated with barrel manufacturers...... You could also check out Douglas Barrels As I have never had any problem with them and if your Military or Retired they will give you a Discount and there alway on time. At least that's what I have had with them. Good Luck

Here is my 1903 Springfield it's has the orignal barrel it has a 8X Unertl scope and shoot real good for a Old War Horse it also real fun to shoot hope you like it

Re: USMC Mod 70 Most if not all were Pre 64 action and they had a 24 inch target barrel 1:10 twist. They used Unertl 8X and 10X scopes on them and they are 30-06 173grs bullets but you can't get the 173 but you can get the 175

Re: M70 Sniper Thank you It's funny I also have a 1903 Sniper with a 8X unertl and I when I bring them out it gets a lot of looks some of the guys don't know what kind of scope or rifle they are but the kids all say that it looks just like the gun I use in my Video Game
