Watch Out for Scammers!
We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
May leave it express iron sites but wanted opinions on reddot sights that make for quick acquisition but a dot small enough to get out to 250 meters. Leupold RDS?
Easy, Savage Varmint or Tactical in 308 for $600-$700 and a used SWFA 5x20 HD from the classifieds. With rings and bipod I think you can be under $2000, way under if you find the rifle on sale.
The big thing is availability, so long as you keep reloading supplies in bulk, you will always be able to shoot when you want. FGMM can dry up from time to time. Outside of the.308, there are tons of benefits to reloading as fgmm does not really exist in a big way for other calibers. Mainly...
I am getting the same from a 7rem mag, 73 gr retumbo, 180 berger, 3100 gps and 5.8-6 mils to 1000. No signs of pressure at all, though I worked up from 68.
That is awesome, 3400 rounds down the tube, i would call it the most efficient match caliber there is with that type of life. I am running a 7rm that I worked up to safe but hot loads for that are right at that but I do not expect to see 1200 thru it. Running 5.8 to 6 mils to 1000.
There is no excuse for not communicating with people who have given a business a reasonably large sum of money. Even if it is a form email telling them you are having supplier issues. Just not right no matter the cop out.
PPU is mostly junk. Federal Gold Medal Match in 168 or 175 is the go to ammo to confirm potential accuracy, spend the extra 20 bucks it is currently bringing over where it was two years ago. You spend 20 bucks in gas getting to the range and back.
I think people are after a little more horse power from the 6.5 and 6mm's. I love 7mms of all types. I consider it the best selection of bullet weights 180 grain and under than can be pushed crazy fast without a ton of powder. Those high BCs do the rest. that said, it sucks get 162 amax and...
Just bought the wife a Weatherby Vanguard Sub MOA in .308. It has a 3 contour barrel so its heavy but not crazy heavy making it easier to handle for her. Ross Shuler Brake should get threaded over the next week and she is off. She gets a 10X scope to start and gets to help me load massive...
The 6.5 Swede, 7x57, or 7 Rem Mag, would all be fun. The 7x57 comes into its own with a little more powder capacity than the 7-08 using the long sleek 7mm projectiles with high b/c's, the only downside is availability of the great 7mm projectiles but offers really long barrel life. That said...
Can't imagine they would, it's purpose is extended long range, but you can have a used one modified if you so choose. I love the .338 win as a dangerous game caliber, but capacity is king with heavy, high bc projectiles. .338 lapua is perfect in that role.
Don't worry with some of these knuckleheads. 3 months is an unacceptable amount of time for a company that created the mess through their own incompetence to keep your property from you. 2-3 weeks is the most, if they can't get it back faster they need to hire more help. I do think it was a...
I would put him together an m40ish from new parts. 700 sps, wood stock, and the commemorative scope from swfa. I would not use hybrid calibers for the kid as he likely want have time or space to reload.
Not a repeater but I think the AR50 is basically the normal guys .50. Accurate and safe without breaking the bank. Loading one at a time is not a bad thing in a 50.
Took some real scumbags to write our country's bankruptcy laws, I mean complete low life douche nozzles. I know you want some money back but seeing him go to jail in the end will be the reward.
Just need to turn down the cocking indicator on the back of the bolt and take same steel wool to the stock. Like it, I will never own the real thing but that rifle would be a bunch of fun to shoot.
