It's going to happen, only way to stop it is to not shoot it. What you are reading are opinions on how to slow down the process. One thing I think most agree on is that the the hotter the load, the faster it's going to occur. It's a cumulative process and there is no way to reverse it. Find a...
I saw those graphs on another site when they first come out. Only thing they point out is how many times those brands of cases can be reloaded until the case head separates. You ASSUME that neck sized only cases will last a lot longer, but nothing in that graph proves it. I'm just asking for...
Has anyone seen a test to show what the real difference on case life is using FL resizing vs neck sizing only? The table from Sinister just shows the results of loading brass using FL resizing. I suspect most are seeing their brass become useless from loose primer pockets before the head separates.
The problem with the primers that didn't fire is that they were each struck 2 or 3 times according to the OP. There is no way to say if the firing pin strike is adequate or not. The picture shows a cumulative result of 2 or 3 tries. Also if the strikes did look adequate on the first try, how...
If neck sizing only will prevent case head separations, then why does the length of the case grow longer with each firing no matter how it's resized? With each firing on cases like the 308/30-06 with around a 30 degree shoulder, all the brass ahead of the case head flows towards the neck on...
Call the company that reloaded the ammo and see what they say. I've seen reloaded ammo from a reputable company have problems in the past. The ammo is the most likely source of your problem. Also, shoot some ammo from a different source in that gun and see if you have problems. If those...
Sounds like the decapping pin is hitting the bottom of the case and not knocking out the primer. Are you sure it's boxer primed brass? It could also be the decapping rod is set tool deep.
Re: 30-06, 22-250, 357mag pistol powders? 4895 would be an excellent choice for the rifles. 165 grins for the 06 and 50 or 55 grins for the 22-250 are a good all around weight for theses.

Re: Few videos from this year's prairie dog adventure! That NF reticle looks interesting. Would you recommend it over the others that NF offers? What did you like/dislike about it?
Re: wyoming antelope area 23? Check with Game and Fish office in Sheridan. They have a list of land owners who want hunters. Also check with the chamber of commerce in Gillette. Some of them offer free access. Also donate a few bucks to the walkin access fund, it helps to open up more private...
