Looking at building another Rem 700 in 308 and cutting the barrel down to 16 inches but my 18 inch one was really close to my B&C light tac stock. Is there a stock out there that is shorter?
Got a Tacticool stock for my Savage MKII. It is a new E receiver. I also ordered a DIP heavy floor plate to use but it's too long. Will the non-E DIP floor plate work or do I have to use the factory Savage floor plate that Boyds lists on their website to use? I had also planned on getting the...

Re: MOA/MOA under $1k? I actually have a quote in hand for a ST10 I'm getting ready to send in. I'm having a hard time writing the amount on the check though and thought I'd see one last time if there was anything else out there.

Trying to decide if I should spring the $200 or not for the ergo adjustment. My home range only goes to 600 and I rarely get to go anywhere that i can shoot past 600 yards. Any opinions?

So I got the bright idea to install my new trigger myself. Bad idea. The Timney instructions say not to drive the pins out so far that the bolt stop and bolt stop spring don't fall out. Well my last little "tap" wasn't so little and I drove the pin all the way out and the bolt stop and spring...
Re: Check my dope... 40mm objective. It's in TPS low rings. I just used a tape measure and guessed it was about 1.85 inches. It's second focal plane and I shot it all day on 10x. Just can't figure out why I needed so much more elevation at 600.
Re: Check my dope... It's a Leupold Mk 4 3.5-10 with M2 knobs. I didn't check the movement. After I shot 600 I dialed it back down to 0 and went back to 100 and it was were it should be so I would think it was tracking ok. Could the side focus not being right cause that much change?
