    Buy it - great value for the $$. While I don't think it is better build than my Nightforce, the glass seems like it is certainly on par. In a side by side comparison with a Vortex Viper FFP 6-24x50, I think it outshines it in internal, glass, and turrets. The Vortex may have it in design though.

    Savage 12 LRP 260 for a 8yr old??

    You put a steel base, steel rings on th LRP and some glass and you are looking at 13+ lbs. My LRP without a mag, a badger base and rings is 11lbs, 11 ounces, meaning it would be 12 lbs with a mag. My 7 year old didn't like carrying it to the car 2 weeks ago, and I can't imagine taking it...

    Trouble Installing Viperskins on AI

    Get the front started and the rear most screw started, then tighten the longest (just in front of the mag well) and tighten that down then go back an forth tightening down middle to each end. I have had similar issues, and found this to work the best.
