Has anyone had any experience running a suppressor with 17-4ph baffles on an sbr? Any issues with baffle erosion? I'm looking to run a 17-4ph baffle material suppressor on a 7.5 inch sbr.
I'm having a problem recently and I don't know what the issue is. I'm currently shooting a 26 inch TRG in 308 with handloads. Federal GMM brass, 178 amaz, 44.6g Varget, GMM primer. In the past, I could easily get about 10 firings before the primer pocket got loose enough to where it wouldn't...
Hi guys. I'm about to file my first form 1 using the ATF's new e-fil system, and I had a few questions to ask. 1) On a form 1, what would you notate as the overall length of the gun? Is this just a guess-timate? I don't have a stock to form a reference point. 2) On a form 1, what would I...
Hey guys, I am looking to tackle a new project and I'm looking for your advice. Long story short, I'm looking to purchase an AK pistol to convert to an SBR. On this SBR, I'm looking to run a can that has standard 5/8x24 threads. I'm currently looking at a polish Radom, seen below, but I had...
subbing to this thread for updates I'm just curious, but how does the ATF plan on enforcing this if it does go through? I'm just afraid people will get tagged for negligence (or something along those lines) because if the law gets passed, some trust holders may be unaware of the changes.
If memory serves me right, I don't think this has to be sent in along with the form 4 application and $200 check, correct? I remember sending in a schedule A with the items listed under the trust, but the assignment of of property document is something you fill out after you receive the tax...
Re: Weird issue in my new Ruger 22/45. FTE? Just installed a new Volquartsen Extractor. The gun runs like an absolute champ and din't have any issues in the 200 rounds I fired today. The factory extractor was definitely defective and the claw wasn't protruding enough to grab the brass.
Quick question. If you purchase just an integral SBR upper that is sub 16" (thus paying a tax stamp), do you need to pay a second tax stamp to construct the SBR? I'm assuming you have to. The reason why I ask is because it seems kind of contradictory and redundant if you just buy the integral...
