    Reloading 50 BMG/dealing with the crimp

    In my experience the most complete and nicest looking crimp removal is done by the LE Wilson Reamer. Cuts the crimp out completely, leaves a nice rounded taper for easy primer insertion and doesn't scar up the pocket walls. Needs to be used with the BMG case tools, cannot be used freehand...

    Wipe-out foaming bore cleaner, and add eliminator if there's lots of copper. Doesn't hurt to run a bore brush thriught a few times to rough up the surface beforehand.

    You don't want it any tighter than necessary to keep it in place, compressing the barrel near the muzzle might mess with your accuracy.

    It's what's in the box that needs to be verified. You'll have to see the scope itself to look for fake characteristics. If you can't get the seller to open the box, see if they can produce a receipt tying the scope purchase to a reputable dealer.

    Headspacing Trouble

    Sounds like your chamber is shorter than the minimum headspace that your dies will size to. You can take a standard shell holder and grind/machine down the die contact surface until you get shoulder contact or you can shorten your sizing die slightly. I would go with the shell holder first...

    Re: Defiance mis-firing. Anyone else had this issue? Make sure the cocking piece isn't dragging on the sides of the trigger housing. If the trigger or trigger pins are a tight fit it can cause binding.

    Re: Cant Hold a Group!!!! Have you adjusted the parallax for 200 when you move to that range? The reticle moving around from improperly adjusted parallax could give the symptoms you describe.
