    WOA Upper delivered.

Nice rifle. That's exactly what I have been considering for my next one. How long did it take once you ordered it, and how much was it to flute it?

Tight bolt on Remington XCR comp

I have the same problem with my new XCR II in 300wm. It was even shaving a little brass off the rim of the case. I just got it back from Remington and haven't shot it yet. I called them and they told me that they polished the chamber and the bore. Hopefully I can get it out soon.

    Suggestions on new hunting rifle

30-06 is probably going to be your best all around caliber. That's what I have used for several years. Just recently purchased a Remington XCR ii in 300 WM, just to try something different. Probably the worst gun I have ever owned. Since the very first shot brass was hard to eject and...

    Rifle Scopes Aimpoint pro?

Love my Aimpoint PRO. This is my first red dot so I cant really comment on any of the others. The only think that I don't seem to care for is that at the 9th and 10th brightness setting the is a red ring surrounding the edge of the optics, really noticeable on the 10th setting. Not really a big...

Rifle Scopes zeroing a pst ffp

Well actually at about 4:00 he test to see if he needed to bed the front by installing the rear screws. In his situation he didn't have to. Unlike mine where the front of the receiver sits lower than the rear. If I install the front screws first and tighten them down it causes the rail to bend...

Rifle Scopes zeroing a pst ffp

That was the same video I used to bed the rail. Its a 10 FCP HS 5r. I may take it off grind the bedding off and do it again this weekend. I called and spoke to some one about it saying 10FP and they told me that it is the same thing. I also test fit an EGW base as well and it looked to be about...

    Gunsmithing Savage 10FCP Mcmillan issue

I had a EGW 20moa for my 10 FCP that would not bolt up right the holes were drilled wrong. I measured the receiver and the bolt holes and they were off by a few thousands. If I remember correctly there was a forum on here somewhere about this. I went with a Seekins and the bolt holes lined up...

    Sidearms & Scatterguns M&P 9c ejection problem

For the people running a m&p 9c or similar m&p. Where are your spent shells landing. Mine once in a while mine will hit me in the top of the head. Doesn't matter what brand of ammo I use or who is shooting it. The others will land maybe only a foot and a half back and to the right. I had Smith...

Rifle Scopes zeroing a pst ffp

Its a Seekins I'm not sure what the part number is but I know its a 20 moa. I don't even think they build anything less for my rifle. I thought it was strange to have to bed the front as well, but I didn't want the rail to bend like it was. Oh I also tried a EGW 20 moa and I had problems fitting...

Rifle Scopes zeroing a pst ffp

The mount has a recoil lug on it so I could only mount it one direction. And I have not used the shims yet, it goes 5.5 mils past the 0 on the turret shroud not my 100 yard zero. I had to bed the front because if I tightened the front screws down without the bedding it would cause the mount to...

Rifle Scopes zeroing a pst ffp

I have the same problem. Except I have the 6x24 and zeroed at 100 yards I only have 8.9 mils up to play with. The scope has a total of 20.6 mils of elevation. I too have a 20 moa base and thought that I would at least be closer to the bottom. I think my problem is that my receiver may not be...

Savage 10FCP HS 5R pics with range report.

Thank You this should give me a good starting point I will be using SMK 168 to start with over some Varget or IMR 8208 not sure which one I am going to try first. I hope Savage fixes my problem so I can start testing some loads. This is going to be a long six weeks.

Savage 10FCP HS 5R pics with range report.

I did and it grouped nice about .6 moa with some Remington core lokt. I know it isn't match grade but its all I had at the time. Im currently starting to develop some loads for it. Hopefully it comes back soon so I can shoot it.

Savage 10FCP HS 5R pics with range report.

Nice setup. I pretty much have the same thing except with a viper 6x24 ffp. I haven't got to shoot it much I had to send it back to Savage, it was shooting low and to the left. I was running out of elevation in the scope even with a 20moa base. I cant wait till I get it back. I hope I can get...

    Help with Savage fcp rifle?

This is my first thread so go easy on me. I'm new to the long range/ precision shooting so I'm not sure if this should be a major concern or not. First off the rifle. 10 FCP HS precision 5r in 308 Vortex Viper PST 6-24 ffp in mil. Burris XTR ring in low and lapped Seekins 20 moa rail...
