I would say savage as I own one also. But if I had 5000 I would definitely go with a gap built gun! If you wanted to tinker and save money I would say savage but I wouldn't do a 110ba. Hey Chris are you considering putting target/tactical style turrets on the 1-6? I really want one but I absolutely hate capped turrets : ) I have one of you 4-14x44 FFP its really nice I replaced a millet 4-16 with it and I'm glad I did.

I'm in the same boat been looking at fixed power specifically a us optics st-10 its only 10x. Or a used vortex razor HD those are the ones on top of my list so far.also of course the swfa as 5-20 HD too.
