Has anyone bought a M40A1 from Texas brigade armory? I want to buy one for my dad. I would like the setup complete with scope etc.

I'm looking at getting one of these 1911's pretty soon. For those of you that have one, how do you like it. Does it warrant the $1500-1600 price tag. Good quality, lack of feed issues, and accurate is what I'm shooting for. Thanks.

Where can I find a Springfield Armory M2 bipod for a M1A/M14? I have searched on here with no results.

Recently came across an older SA 1911A1, which was covered in heavy grease (for storage I believe) and very hard to operate but I cleaned it up and it looks to be in excellent shape. It is in the original box with cleaning rod, large cleaning brush and single mag. Started wondering how old it is...

They look like they do a very good M 40 A1 clone. Does anyone have any pros and cons about them? Do they do all their machining, and or fitting in their shop, or do they outsource their work? Thanks in advance. P.S. How do they compare to the GAP M 40 A1 clones?
