150gr Balistic tip in DPMS LR308?

I was wondering if anybody has had any problems running tipped bullets in thier DPMS/AR-10 auto's? Do the tips break off or something? Thanks.

They don't break off in my Armalite AR10. I don't see why they would in your LR308.

Even though Lapua Scenars are the most accurate in my DPMS, .308, I didn't like the way they put deer down so I switched to SILVER ballistac tips, and they work fine.

Thanks. I just didn't want to spend any money on the BT's only to find out they wouldn't work.
